Which agents does it work with?+
ChatGPT and Claude (on the web, desktop and mobile) connect to Explainium as an MCP server. Coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and others — use the skill, which talks to Explainium over a plain HTTP API from your terminal.
Do I pay for the AI?+
Your agent does the thinking on your existing AI subscription.
What are credits for?+
Licensed stock media. Your agent can search and preview stock photos and icons for free; when you export a video that uses them, each photo costs 4 credits and each icon 1 credit, charged once per asset. Free includes 50 credits a month, Premium 500 and Pro 2,000. On paid plans, unused credits carry over while you stay subscribed.
Do I need design, video or coding skills?+
No. You describe what to explain; your AI builds the animation. If you do read code, it's all yours to inspect and edit.
Is there a voiceover?+
Not yet — voiceover is coming later. For now, on-screen text and motion carry the story over music, so videos work on mute in any feed and in any language.
What can I export?+
MP4 in HD or Full HD, landscape (16:9) or vertical (9:16).
Who can see my videos?+
On the Free plan, we may feature videos you make on our website and social channels. Paid plans are always private. Details in our Terms of Service.
